I'm based in Aberdeen for now, studyin Television (the practical side, camera work etc) with a mind to putting it to use making skate vids :) Where 'bouts on this rainy isle are y'all?

Okay, well now that the community is now open, I'll ask a question that has been taunting me ever since I started skating.

I have a really really weird problem. I have been skating for three years off and on, but I still cannot seem to get over this. I seem to have Skateboard Dyslexia, because here's the thing: when I ollie, do kickflips, shove its, etc., I always do all those tricks regular footed. But when I ride around, like actually moving, I'm ride GOOFY footed, and I could never seem to learn how to skate regular, no matter how hard I tried. Skating goofy footed however came very naturally, but due to my retarded left leg, I can't pop the board very well, so all tricks involving popping the board that way are impossible, however I can manual, tic tac, moonwalk, and a bunch of other stuff goofy footed really well. So I guess what I'm asking is, is there any way to help me skate better regular footed?

Ready to Rock Oct. 11th, 2004 @ 06:56 am
I'm bored now, i can't be bothered coming up with a style for this at the moment, cos i know it'll end up the same as my one. BUT all the bits are in place for this Community to rock, so anyone watching spread the word!
